Denman Island’s climate action committee, Planting & Protecting Trees for the Futurehad an active role in organizing Friday, March 19th’s Forest March in downtown Courtenay. Over 100 folks made it out to stand up for old growth forests, including Denman Islanders! This was a solidarity action with www.forestmarchbc.ca but part of our ongoing grassroots activist campaign.
